Worth the wait, Christmas Sessions at Little Yellow Boots are now available to book! These sessions are never just about the beautiful magical images I capture, they are about giving families and children a fun and festive experience to be remembered as part of those Christmas memories that children reminisce about for years to come.

Christmas Baking is BACK!

This popular set is back for even more festive fun this year. Children and families can enjoy pretending to mix, roll and bake biscuits in the beautiful Christmas kitchen backdrop set.

With wooden spoons, mixing bowls and rolling pins at the ready, there is so much magical fun to capture as children enjoy this nostalgic activity. Want even MORE fun? Add £2.50 onto your session fee payment to receive a gingerbread decorating kit at your session for little ones to bring the baking activity to life and take home something yummy! (Please contact me in advance if you need to discuss allergies).

Families will also spend some time on my twinkly neutral set which has a beautiful splash of Christmas, but captures photos that could be displayed all year round. Children can have a go at decorating the tree, before snuggling up for a family cuddle or to pull a cracker.

Christmas Lanterns (NEW!)

This beautiful backdrop was purchased a year ago, and I have been waiting patiently to bring it to you. A stunning christmas lantern arch-way scene, perfect for adding fluffy snow underfoot and a sledge for the ultimate christmas card look.

I have a variety of festive props suitable for different ages and sizes, so even babies and parents/carers can get involved!

This backdrop will also be paired with photos taken on my twinkly neutral backdrop set too, so that you get to experience double the Christmas charm. Below is an example of what it will look similar to.

During both weekends, you will have the option to have a photo taken to create the beautiful 'Waiting for Santa' digital scene*; this has been popular every single year at Little Yellow Boots and completely captures the magical belief of Christmas for little ones. Children are photographed on a white background and all of the editorial magic happens during post-processing, children are just required to sit and look up at / point to a parent to achieve the right look for these, super simple!

*The 'Waiting for Santa' digital scene is available as a mini digital-only session. Time slots coming soon for these!

• How much is a Christmas photoshoot?

It is £25 to secure your session, this covers the photoshoot and my time to edit your beautiful photographs.

• How much are the packages?

There are 3 packages to choose from;

-Package 1 - £99 - 4 digital images

-Package 2 - £149 - 8 digital images

-Package 3 - £189 - All of your digital images (12+)

Add on a print bundle to package 2 or 3 for just £15 extra to receive a pack of eight 5"x 7" prints plus a luxury mounted 8"x 6" print. Prints MUST be collected from the studio or postage can be arranged for an additional £5.

• How long will the session last?

Around 30-40 minutes for the full Christmas sessions. The digital-only 'Waiting for Santa' mini session typically lasts upto 10 minutes. Coming soon.

• What should we wear?

A full session prep will be emailed to you once you book your slot, this includes guidance for clothing options that work well for Christmas photoshoots, and I am always able to help advise prior to your session if you are unsure.

• How quickly will I receive my photos?

I will endeavour to deliver your beautiful images via your own private online gallery within a week after your photoshoot. These will be loosely edited to ensure you view them as quickly as possible, and chosen images are then given full editing and 100% magic before being delivered to you on a separate gallery with download access. Any printed copies will be ready within 1-2 weeks.

• How do I know which backdrop would suit my child(ren) best?

I always ensure my Christmas sessions are inclusive for all children and any ages, with a range of different props suitable even for babies. Please contact me here if you do have any questions or queries regarding this years' sessions.
